But unofrtunately, there was maintenance on first try, so we had to postpone it, but i could take pictures from both days, we couldn’t get any Red Dragon, but we got many useful monsters, at least they were useful for me, i hope everyone had great time, you can see pictures from events below.

Hi Everyone,
On my this post, you will be able to read my notes on my trip on Japanese Version of Puppet Guardian, well you may not know that, but yeah, there is a japanese version of this great game and there are some differences between English version more than language, first of all when you look at history of the game, Japanese Version released earlier than English Version, because of that and many other reason, Japanese version have a strong player base, if you have chance and visit that version, the first thing you will notice will be the number of players, it’s much more than English version and this game is very popular on Japan. There are physical items, cards released to promote game and demand is high on them.

A familiar scene…
Celestial Castle… This area where Japanese players come together, they chat here and stay on their positions for hours, someone may show up and tell that he/she can roll in a tower, a movement starts.
Different looks, different characters, different personalities, different nations, but 1 one thing is commong. That’s Puppet Guardian. Even though on picture there were not many people, believe me, as a player there, i didn’t see Puppet Guardian crowded like this before . ..
At first sight, you may see some items, pets etc. which is not released yet on English version Puppet Guardian. But they will come here soon too on upcoming updates.
After spending some time on Celestial Castle circle , i decided to check out the castle to see changes between Englsh version and i took screenshots of them, as we all know, Shasura Battle Event happening now on English Puppet Guardian and couple of days ago, it was even posted on their official blog, so we saw, still see and will see some Japanese friends around this time, they know what will happen etc. But we may need some info.
Shasura Battle Event started 9 days ago, as typical we saw, Shasura comes out on 15th minute etc etc, but we don’t know is what will happen in the end, well as i’ve been told, event supposed to end on March 3rd, on last day we will fight agaisnt Shasura and his army for one last time, but this time there will be many different things, i’m not gonna tell you what will happen to keep this as suprise, but be sure to be online that day.
Japanese Version of Puppet Guardian had this event just after June Bridal Event, really long time ago, they fought Shasura over and over again and they know what will happen after event. When event finished there had been some changes, you can see these changes on pictures below.
One of the changes in game is the pond, the pond in game after Shasura Battle Event on Japanese Version of Puppet Guardian is now empty, so if you think about taking pictures on English version, be quick, because you may not have a chance to do that again. Also the Lions who became “alive” on Shasura Battle Event seem to be disappeared too, these are the changings you can see on Celestial Castle on Japanese Version of Puppet Guardian after Shasura Battle Event. So after finishing with Celestial Castle, i decided to go and check out the changes on Courtyard. Well at first look nothing seemed changed, Mausoleum was still open, everything was exactly like how they supposed to be . So i decided to enter the Mausoleum…
When i entered Mausoleum, the first thing i noticed was Yun & Org were not there anymore and if you think they are on vacation, answer is no. They are not. This is a question which will be answered in the end of Shasura Battle Event. Also if you click on gems on 2 statues they will drop, so you can pull them and replace on mural, when you do that, final video will be shown, pretty cool, huh?
Anyway these all changings supposed to be after event, but also game itself has some updates, for example from now on, when you collectings items on Towers, like on mr glitter disappears, so this help us to remember, that which part was collected which was not etc. Also new hair colors were available after an update. And you can see the future of question mark button too.
Another update is pets, Japanese Players got black cat, kiwi, penguin and hare. All pets are extremely adorable and i hope to see them on English version on upcoming updates.
And also Japanese version was running a fashion design contest , whcih was ended yesterday and new items will be available after season 2 is released.
A Golden Chest Monster(!), yes, you saw right!!! A Gold Event happened on Japanese Puppet Guardian not so long time ago. That monster was available during event, which can be seen on left. That chest monster was dropping gold nugget, gold dust, etc. And You were able to make gold weapons with 10 gold nuggets.
3 New gold weapons released on Japanese version during event, they are axe, war hammer and mace. I saw Zoa versions of these weapons, which were blue cards and they were extremely beautiful, what makes them great is not only their look, but how useful they are also. You can still hurt monsters with them, after you stone them.
Also on Valentines Day, another event happened on Japanese Version of Puppet Guardian, on this event, squires fought for valentines day special item, which can be used to synthese cakes as well as very cute cupid teddy bear.
Anyway, after spreading all those news, i want to show you the prices on Japanese version, many players know how low prices are there, but let’s see it with our eyes.
Let’s start with gem prices, as we all know on Puppet Guardian, gems are pretty rare, valuable and that makes them impossible to buy sometimes, but even though they are expensive, we still buy them, so imagine all those golds you spent on gems and then look at the prices.
Now let’s take a look on clothes, accessorries and items, this time difference will be much more clear. Even though enchanted cloth seems cheap, silk is not, if you go merchant guild and make a search you won’t find a pink blossom dress under 33g.
Silver card items are very common in this game and that makes them really cheap too, a dragon ring for 13g.
Could you imagine buying a manitou hat for 3g? Or dragon amulet for 0.17? (Even though i bought 2 for 0.02 some time ago) And evil eyes, can you believe those prices? They are so cheap, what’s wrong with all those people?
And finally let’s check weapon prices also…
Ok, scythe prices seem to be similar to English version of PG, but minus scythe, all weapons are extremely cheap, did you ever think you could buy a holy axe for 48g or paragon lance for 97g (!) or holy bow for 33g, did u see that petrifying serpent staff for 2.22? How about giga war hammer for 10.73?
Ok, if you spend 1 hour on Japanese version, this will start to sound normal and you know why?
Because there are many players on this version and each of them try to sell their weapons, so that drops prices, before Magical Rooms, if you need black liquid, you could pay maybe 1g, because alternative way of that was rolling dice on tower 1 like 5 times, but now when you see 0.03 one on merchant, you continue search for 0.02. So you can’t blame them for prices.
Even though with so many differences between Japanese version, we have common things so far. For example, chest weapons and chest items are very popular there too and just like in English version of Puppet Guardian, they love pets, gems, new clothes, mixing styles etc etc. After some time you may believe, you are in a fashion show!
Even though with those great things, also have minus parts too. Those prices seem to be good, but selling items are extremely hard a lot (I waited 1 week for my 0.02 long bow to be sold), because of prices are low, you can’t sell items for high prices, so you can’t earn gold.
On events because of dozens of players, game becomes too laggy, you disconnect from game a lot. When we get 1 dice per hour, they get 1 dice per 4 hours. And if you don’t speak Japanese, you will be very bored. Because hanging out alone not very funny and won’t last long with little dices. So you can still hang out here on English version of Puppet Guardian with your friends from around world. Golds can buy many holy weapons, but a warm chat with a friend can be never replaced…

Today im gonna present you another game, which named “Livly Island”, this is a game from the creator of Puppet Guardian (Kentaro Ishizaka), but it is now operated by Sony and is available through its online portal So-net in 2007. similar to virtual pets, but what you care for is a new creature named Gargans, there are many types, i personally picked dog looking one, page is all japanese, can’t be translated either, but thank god, i saw an English speaking player and she told me about game, well you have your little islands and your gargans, which have own name, look, color etc…
You start game on a table, first you need to finish with the tutorials, then, you come to your little island, your gargan needs food etc, you feed it, you visit other little islands of other players, you collect gems, this game has it’s own money type named dodoos, you can buy new pets, new islands for your gargan, when you feed your gargans or buy new items your gargan gains exp and after some time, it levels up, you need to raise and tend them, game has a very colorful layout, which makes it more enjoyable, links and picture of my gargan can be seen below. ‘Till next time see you later!!!
