People Behind the Puppets Volume 20

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the 20th edition of the People Behind the Puppets series! This week my “best friend forever” youssefsedrak will be my guest. He was so kind to accept my interview, we had a nice chat, i hope you enjoy it, i’m sorry i wasn’t able to follow schedule very regularly lately. Since my school started, i’m not totally able to spend my time on my blog.  So i may have a break on blog for couple of weeks. Anyway, hope you enjoy this interview! 😀 😀 😀

Hi Youssef, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?
First of all, I’d like to thank you Rivers for doing this interview and in Puppet Guardian, actually I was doing just fine completed my goals (Zoa Inventory) and in real life I was Ok too.
Do you remember when and how you first started playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find the Puppet Guardian website?
I found Puppet Guardian from a browser gaming website since I wasn’t allowed to download much so I tried it, but I felt that I would never improve my puppet in it so I quitted , I came back this year since I was feeling bored so I found a Link to a game called Magical Rooms so I felt excited so Magical Rooms made me return too Puppet Guardian (Notice that I said “so” lot’s of times)
You made a game of yourself lately (http://thenightmaresaga.weebly.com/play.html) Where did this idea come from? And what do people think about it?

Actually I was thinking about making a game. So I asked my cousins (Stormy and Nardine) to pick a name for it, they said nightmare (something) and then I didn’t really believe that I’d be able to make a game but I came back and made it, it wasn’t really hard making it. I’ve chosen saga because I like all the movies and games which are divided into parts (Saga’s). I think that people like it but they keep asking me how to change weapon haha. And i don’t really care what they think because I did something that I wanted and I never thought that I’d ever make it.

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? Can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?

My favorite item is Black Liquid haha and gems (Especially Zoisite), But I like many weapons, for example: Ghost Scythe, Dark Axe (Upgraded version is nice too)-, Dark Staff, Shadow Wand, Zoa Spear and Venom Bow (Upgraded). And my goal is to get a gem (Anytype). Or too make Dark Staff.
As a player who played for a long time, what are your thoughts over changes or updates on Puppet Guardian over the years?
I’d like the game to have a profanity filter and to release Ocean Book, that’s all.
Do you have any memories or players from the past which makes you smile when you remember them?
I have many memories actually everytime I remember my favorite Puppets (They know themselves ;)) I feel happy and I really never felt sad at Puppet Guardian except when I got scammed and when people made fun of me when I was a newbie
What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
Actually Puppet Guardian means a lot to me I don’t really care about my items I enjoy spending time with my friends there and I can describe it as the best game with best friends (Slogan) 😀
If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian, would you quit or would you make new friends? Why?
If all my friends quitted I will quit because like I said Puppet Guardian isn’t only about items (I wouldn’t quit for good only play it for fun) because Puppet Guardian took a space from my heart.
As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Yes, I do I suggest them not to trade with anyone they don’t know or too buy stuff for lot’s of money without checking the wiki pr asking other players.
Thank you so much for letting me to have an interview with you youssef! Hope to see you soon, take care!

Thank You!”

Thank you so much for reading! Take care and see you until next entry! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 19

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the 19th edition of the People Behind the Puppets series, this week Silvervine enchant us with his never ending knowledge. I hope you enjoy this interview! 😀 😀 😀

“Hi Silver, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?
Hello Rivers. Thank you for inviting me to your next interview. I’ll try to answer as sincerely as I can. To start, I’m fine, thanks for asking. Though I wish I could say I were busier, in both real life and PG, that really isn’t the case.
Travelling world is part of your life. Can you tell us an unforgettable memory of you? And what was the greatest place you have ever been in while travelling?
I don’t really consider myself as much of a traveler. Truthfully, I spent my childhood on one of these small islands, so when my friends told me they were traveling in this direction, I decided to tag along. I have visited other places, as well, and I think each place has been positive experience. Although, there was a one time, recently, when I almost ate dog. I didn’t, of course, but… culture shock…
Do you remember when and how you first started playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find the Puppet Guardian website?
I remember that I started almost as soon as the beta was released, so that’s Feb. 2009. I don’t remember what brought me to PG, but I’m glad I started playing.
You have so much knowledge about japanese Puppet Guardian. How do you gather those informations?
I often browse the Japanese PG sites (wikis and blog) for anything new. I’d like to be able to read the Japanese, but for now, I’ll have to rely on the google translations. I think you’re more impressive, though, for being able to bring news of the Japanese updates to us in the English (International) version.
What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? Can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
The lance is definitely my favorite weapon in PG. It was the first weapon that I’d made, and I’ve stuck with it since. Now, it’s the only weapon that I use. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with what I have in PG, but I’ll be making the season 2 lances as my season 2 goal. I’d also like to finish my room in MR one day.

As a player who played for a long time, what are your thoughts over changes or updates on Puppet Guardian over the years?
I’m always looking forward to any new update to PG. I like how the game is always growing. However, I do miss the sense of vulnerability we had that really encouraged us to tower in teams and look out for each other. Now, many of us can solo almost any tower, which shouldn’t be a bad thing, but still, PG just gave a different feeling back then, and I think that is what many of us treasured. I hope we can have that experience again, in season 2 and beyond.
Do you have any memories or players from the past which makes you smile when you remember them?
I remember towering t5 in a large team and the players had been chatting about their likes and dislikes. After a while, they were chatting about food, with many of us getting hungry, when, for some reason, the topic had shifted to cannibalism and remained so for a good 5 or 10 minutes. Then, one player interrupted, saying, “this conversation has taken a dark turn”. At that moment, I think many of us were laughing in front of our screens. I really enjoy that sort of awkward banter between players.
What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
I’m pretty amazed of how attached I’ve become. Visiting PG is as natural to me as going out for lunch or reading a book. Sorry for the poor examples, but that’s probably the best way I can describe it.

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian, would you quit or would you make new friends? Why?
If all my friends were to leave, PG would certainly feel very empty to me. I think that would be very unlikely, though, because many of them are just as dedicated to the game as I am, and maybe even more so. Honestly, I think the only way I would stop playing would be if the game, itself, were to end; which, I hope, will not happen. For those that leave, I really wish them well. For any new friends, I apologize for the lack of space on my friends list. It’s really difficult to let go of old friends who’ve left to make room for new ones. Sometimes, I worry that I delete friends who haven’t really left at all.
As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
You should make shoes as soon as you can. They’ll make you walk a bit faster.
Thank you so much for letting me to have an interview with you silver! Hope to see you soon, take care!

Thank you, Rivers, and sorry for the long-winded answers. I look forward to the growth of your blog. Please, keep it up.”

Thank you for reading, i hope you enjoyed it, take care and see you until another People Behind the Puppets entry, see you!!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 18

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the 18th edition of the People Behind the Puppets series! It’s amazing how long it’s been since i first started this series. With this edition, it’s have been 4 and a half month since I first started. I hope you enjoy this part of my blog, if you have any suggestions or thoughts on this serie, please leave a comment. 😀

Anyway, on this edition of the People Behind the Puppets, the one and only Tinyy will be my guest, hope you enjoy this entry! 😀 😀 😀

Hi Tinyy, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?
Thank you for having me this week Rivers! I love your blog and of course these wonderful interviews you have. These last few weeks I’ve been really busy in real life, so my playing of the game kind of slowed down. But now I’m doing really well! School will start for me next week!

Do you remember when and how you first started playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find the Puppet Guardian website?
I started playing Puppet Guardian in late June of last year. I found the game because some friends suggested it to me, and thankfully I really took to the game. The game’s graphics really appealed to me as well as the intriguing and intimate community of players.

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? Can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
My favorite weapon is of course my Paragon Bronze Hammer. I really like it because of it’s versatility. It has a powerful hit, in addition to it’s “quake” attack. As for my current goals, I just finished a lot of them this summer! In this last week, I finished a lot of my magic goals, as well as my Holy Axe. But this is the contrary to my usually slow improvement. Haha. But now my goal would be to collect Beastly Beards for the opening of Tower 12!

As a player who played for a long time, what are your thoughts over changes or updates on Puppet Guardian over the years?
Well, I have mixed feelings on the changes. I love the new towers, new events, etc. But sometimes I miss when we would just hang out in Tower 2 and talk. Because nowadays, it kind of seems like everyone is scattered around the game, and I miss when we were all together. But overall the changes have been positive.

People know how close you are with Nelliel (Who is another great Puppet Guardian player which was featured here on past). So, how did this friendship start? And to become this point, what things have both of you though?
Aw, haha. Nelliel is a wonderful person. We had met when she “went into disguise”. I was one of the only people that knew her secret. We bonded when we became twins, it was kind of a joke at first, but then Nell and I would wear the same clothes, have the same hair, right down to the same accessories! We spent all our time together and were always chatting. Since then both of our styles have changed, but our friendship stayed the same, just like real twins.

How clothing is important to you? What influences you on your clothes? How often you change your look?
This is a big one, I LOVE CLOTHES. My entire rucksack is filled with clothing, as well as my Merchant. All the clothing items in this game are so adorable. There are hundreds of different items and valuable or not, they all can add something special to an outfit. Nelliel really showed me that the use of uncommon items can add new levels and make a look more distinctive. I probably change my outfit every hour, just because I get bored of the old one XD. If a look can last me longer that, it’s a special one.

You have a nice blog to follow, where did this idea come from? What are your current blog projects and what can we expect from you on future?
My blog idea came from my sister blackmintz! I had always admired her blog and wanted to join in the fun! My favorite thing to do on my blog is my special segment “Tinyy’s Featured Outfit of the Week” or “TFOOTW”. Unfortunately, when the school year starts for me I’ll have more responsibility than I ever had before. My blog will have to slow down.

Do you have any memories or players from the past which makes you smile when you remember them?
I actually feel so lucky, because most of the people on my friends list still play! Although one player I really really miss would be Kwula. She was such a kind player. Kwula, if you’re reading this, please say “Hi” to me in JP version!

What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
To me, Puppet Guardian is a way to hang out with my friends that live far away. It’s kind of like a melting pot. It’s intriguing to me that PG is a place where people from all around the world can come together and be friends and play together! Losing Puppet Guardian would be like losing a method of communication.

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian, would you quit or would you make new friends? Why?
This is a hard one. I of course would try to make new friends, but it would never be the same. Every player is different, so I don’t think I could ever replace any of the great people I’ve met.

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Never be afraid to ask for help. If you’re unsure about something never hesitate to ask! The community is very welcoming and helpful.

Thank you very much Tinyy for this interview, take care and see you!”

I hope you liked this entry of the People Behind the Puppets series, take care and see you until next edition! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 17

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the 17th Volume of the People Behind the Puppets series. This week beautiful and strong Taropie will be my guest. She was kind enough to accept my interview and we had a nice chat. I hope you enjoy it! 😀 😀 😀

Hi Taro, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?
Hey Rivers, first I’d like to say that I’m a huge fan of your blog! I’m doing alright, though I have just a couple of weeks left before university starts up again and I’ll once again be drowning in projects/studying. On PG, however, I’m just enjoying our current bridal event—really happy we finally got it, even though most of us have completely exhausted our dice/luck!

Do you remember when and how you first started playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find the Puppet Guardian website?
I started in March 2009, just about a month after beta was released. I think I was researching 2d isometric art and gaming (no 3d games, they always give me headaches) and one of the results led me to the official blog run by Zorba, which detailed some screenshots. From there, I just completely fell in love with the unique and cute gameplay/items/graphics.

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? Can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
Tough question. I think I enjoy the vast array of clothing the most, though I also love the Paragon Axe, which is my primary goal at the moment—I’m roughly 2 Holy Axes away! 🙂

Can you tell us about your secret on earning gold coins?
Hahaha… If only I got 5g every time this question has been asked to me… The secret to being rich is to simply not spend much and when you do, do so wisely! Having a sense of restraint also helps.  😛 I also used to do Free video offers from RadiumOne, but sadly that’s no more due to others abusing it.

As a player who played for a long time, what are your thoughts over changes or updates on Puppet Guardian over the years?
I would say that most of the updates over time have been great. Sure, they’ve tested our patience with some of the updates (most memorably waiting for T8/9!), but I think many of us have gotten used to the idea of waiting because slowly, but surely, we’ll have all of the same updates as JP version.

Do you have any memories or players from the past which makes you smile when you remember them?
Yes, many! But a funny one that comes to mind is remembering how me and a group of other beginners were trying to “beat Tower 1” by defeating the giant beetle boss just like all the other games, right? So we rolled and rolled back to the boss square of Tower 1 despite continuously dying due to our ill-equipped clubs and wooden staffs. We had no idea why defeating the beetle only gave us intestines and nothing special or worthwhile. Did we have to keep doing this to get to the “next level”? xD

What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
PG means a lot to me! It’s one of the only mmorpg games I’ve stuck with for so long because of the small-knit community and awesome friends made along the way. The distinctive game atmosphere and non-competitive nature of the game really appeals to me. There are no levels, no blood and guts, no grinding for levels; just a sophisticated sort of simplicity, if that makes any sense. I look forward to the continued growth and success of the game! 🙂

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian, would you quit or would you make new friends? Why?
Of course it would be sad; I’ve made so many great friends over the years, but ultimately, I would stay and continue making new friends and just hope that they would come back to visit at least.

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?

Don’t be shy; we have a great community of dedicated and helpful players! If you have any questions, consult the Wikipedia pages and take some time to watch the tutorials. Most players would be more than helpful if you’re stuck, though! Also, kindness and politeness goes a long way.

Thank you so much Taro for this interview, see you!

Thank you so much for reading, i hope you liked it. Take care and see you until another volume!!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 16

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the 16th edition of People Behind the Puppets series. This week dear friend, elephant lover, chest addict also my co-worker Cloudstrife will be on spot. We talked about his Puppet Guardian life, moderating, current projects, his feelings, future plans and many more. Have fun while reading! 😀 😀 😀

Do you remember when and how you first started playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find the Puppet Guardian website?
I joined Puppet Guardian in February of 2009. Back then, the game was very primitive and when I was presented with a dice-rolling game, I became fascinated; The storyline was amazing, the graphics were reminiscent of my favourite anime studio (Studio Ghibli), the music was innovative, and the gameplay was extremely unique and addictive. I think I was searching up “free multiplayer browser games” in Google and came across some webpages that re-directed me to the Puppet Guardian website.

You recently became a Moderator, like Wero and I. What things have changed since you became a moderator? What are your plans for the future as a moderator?
Since I have become a moderator, my role in the game has changed. As a moderator, I shall ensure that players abide by the rules and conduct of the game because – through the years – it is this kindness and consideration towards others that have successfully defined the Puppet Guardian world we originally intended to create and live in.

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? Can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
I don’t have a favourite item or weapon in the game. My goal at the moment is to learn more as a moderator and see to it that the game continues to grow. I guess I can say that it is progressing slowly. Despite there still being cases where we need to crack down on warning/punishing the use of multiple accounts (mules), I’ve seen a good number of new players. Introducing them to the basics of the game will be a key step in moving the game forward.

As a player who played for a long time, what are your thoughts over changes or updates on Puppet Guardian over the years?
Updates to Puppet Guardian have been reflective of its predecessor, the Japanese version of the game. I think for the most part, those updates work for the international version as well. So I’d have to thank our development team for their great work and their best ability in keeping up with the Japanese development team. It’s not easy!

Do you have any memories or players from the past which makes you smile when you remember them?
Yes. Too many to share though. I would like to give a shout out to Pattinson, Eric, Jaded, bumbleb, janime, Captivo, Ares, Morning, Lineage, ReiXVII, Hoyeen, Dale. If any of you are reading this, please drop by and say “Hi”. I would like to know how you are all doing!

What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
Puppet Guardian to me is a virtual world that has become reality to me. In other words, Puppet Guardian is now part of my life and soul. But it is also like a mirror – a mirror realm, pardon the pun – which reflects what the real world we live in should be: magical, fantastical, harmonious. In this sense, its importance is immense for me. I really want others in our real world to escape into a different reality, a world where you can relax and have fun, and it will mean no worries for the rest of your days. ;]

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian, would you quit or would you make new friends? Why?
I would not quit Puppet Guardian without all my friends. I would make new friends. As Zorba best puts it, “Friendship matters and humility, and all the other values that have allowed people with different points of view, different personalities, different anything to get along throughout human history, and even see their way to become friends.”

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Play the game and invite some friends. Add each other on friend’s list. Look at the wikia to set goals if you’re curious about any items you want to make. Be courteous to everyone and stay active in the community. Have fun! =)

Thank you so much Cloud for this interview, see you! 😀 😀 😀

I hope you liked the interview, next week there will be another amazing puppet here with me answering my questions, please leave your feedback, if you let me know your ideas, suggestions and your comments, i can improve my articles. Thank you so much for reading, see you until next time, take care!!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 15

Hi Everyone,

This week, People Behind the Puppets will invite a brave heart to it’s home, on 15th volume of our series, dear Uffiep will be our guest, let’s have a look to this brave player closer now! 😀 😀 😀

Hi Uffiep, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?

Hi Rivers, first I want to thank you for doing this interview with me. I am proud to be on your blog. I am fine and hope the same for you. Lately, i flew to my grandparents in Spain(real life) and i made my Holy Bronze Sword(in the game).

I see… Do you remember when and how did you first start playing Puppet Guardian? Also How did you find this website?

I found this game on facebook, when i was searching for new games which I could play. I have been playing now for one and a half year. I just couldn`t stop playing. There were many nice people around, who helped me when i first started.

How do you pick a look for your character? Colors or clothes? Which are more important to you? And how important is clothing to you?

I check out what other players wear and I put my style together within their style. I think all together is important. I hate to be naked *laugh*.

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? And can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?

My Favourite item/weapon in game is the Bronze Long Sword.I love it’s power, how it shines and the fact that it is a rare and powerful weapon. I have many goals at the moment: Paragon Bronze Long Sword and  clothing sets etc.

As a player who playing for a long time, what was your thoughts over changes on Puppet Guardian through time?

I like the many updates (Season2, New Towers) we got through this time. I don’t like the fact getting those updates takes such a long time.

Do you have any memories & players from past which make you smile when you remember?

I liked your character `blero´very much, but he stopped playing ;( ;( ;(
I like Ryuzo, you and Surreal(because they(you)helped me, when i first started playing Puppet Guardian.

What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?

Difficult question… Puppet Guardian means friendships and fun to me. The game is very important for me and I try to log in eveyday.Puppet Guardian is a wonderful place for young and old players who want to have fun.

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian would you quit? Or Would you make new friends? And why?

I don`t know . ButI think, I wouldn`t quit. I would search for new friendships. (But i don`t think that you would leave me :D)

The friends who left game, if they were reading this now, what would you want to say to them?

PLEASE COME BACK! The game is better than ever. Many funny new people  here. GOGOGOGO->now! ;( ;( ;(

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Beware of scammers. They are bad. Never trade gems for cheap items and never trade with cheaters/scammers.

Thank you very for this sweet interview Uffiep, hope to see you soon, take care and see you in game!!!

Thank you too Rivers. It was very exiting for me to have this interview… Thanks and have a nice day. See you in Puppet Guardian!!!”

Thank you very much for reading, next week another dear puppet will be here with me, until then, take care and see you!!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 14

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the 14th edition of People Behind the Puppets series! This week beautiful Liisa will be my guest, we talked with her about her Puppet Guardian life, whats she current doing, goals and about her future, i hope you enjoy this as much as i did!! 😀 😀 😀

“Hello Liisa, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview now, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?

Hello Rivers, I am very well, thank you. Right now I am enjoying my summer vacation and I have a lot of free time to spend on Puppet Guardian. So, on Puppet Guardian I usually chat with friends or try to decorate my rooms!

Do you remember when and how did you first start playing Puppet Guardian? Also How did you find this website?
Yes, I remember it was a year ago, I was feeling bored one day, so I decided to start playing a game. I stumbled upon Puppet Guardian on a website that reviews MMORPG games. I was amazed by the cute graphics, music, and the gameplay in general. In the beginning though, I was disappointed with the fact that I had to kill animals, like leopards, bears, alligators, birds. Also, the description of the item Leather bothered me a lot! I just can’t stand animal cruelty! But I managed to look at things from a different perspective, since I really wanted to continue playing the game.

I see that you are playing Magical Rooms more than Puppet Guardian, is there a reason for this or you just love decorating? And can you give some decorating tips for our readers?
Your guess is right, Rivers, I love decorating! Personally, when I design my room, I try to avoid putting tall objects or second floors, since I find it hard to fight monsters with such furniture. Right now, I am planning to cover with ivy all the walls of my rooms to the very ceiling! Maybe that will prevent monsters from getting stuck in the ivy! And for the puppet readers, the best tips I can give are: be imaginative and creative, and don’t be afraid to experiment!

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? And can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
My favourite weapon is the Dark Hammer, since I like AoE weapons and I like to stone monsters! As for my goals, I really want to make a Fairy Wand, it will suit my “fairy tale princess” image, and it will be useful in Magical Rooms! But most of all, I would like to own every colour of the pet cat! Now I only need a black one!

As a player who is playing for some time, what was your thoughts over changes on Puppet Guardian through time?
I really don’t have anything to complain about! Except maybe…I don’t like how the colour of the Green Lawn was changed! I liked its old colour! But really, I think that Puppet Guardian is developing just fine!

Do you have any memories & players from past which make you smile when you remember?
I remember a lot of happy moments! I remember one of my bestest friends, who unfortunately has gone missing for quite a few months now, he had a horse and he would always say the funniest things!
Oh, here’s a funny story! Once I went to Tower 5 with a very big team, and somehow as we went through the tower, one by one puppets started to leave, someone got disconnected, someone had to log out, other puppets died. And as each of us left, one of my friends sang “Another one bites the dust! – *clap*”. In the end he died, and luckily I was one of the few “survivors”!

What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
It’s very hard to describe, really! For me, it’s definitely not just a game. I play Puppet Guardian not only for the awesome game it is, but because of all the puppets with whom I enjoy to play and chat!

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian would you quit? Or Would you make new friends? And why?
You never know who you might meet in the future. That’s why I would not quit.

The friends who left game, if they were reading this now, what would you want to say to them?
Over this time, many of my friends quit, or stopped logging on, which makes me very sad! Even though they had told me how busy they are, and even though I realize that they are most likely not reading this, I really want them to come back! Even for a while, come back!

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Be kind and polite – you will make a lot of friends. And don’t forget to have fun!

Thank you so much Liisa for answering my questions, take care and see you in Puppet Guardian!
Thank you, Rivers! It was an honor to be interviewed by you, for your wonderful blog. Keep on running it with the same creativity and enthusiasm, as you do now!”

Thank you for reading everyone, next week i will be here with another precious puppet, talking about life and other stuff, don’t forget to check my blog, until then, take care and see you!!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 13

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the 13th (What an unlucky number) Edition of People Behind the Puppets. This week strong Kwula will be my feature, we talked with her about her Puppet Guardian life, her current projects and future plans, so join us on our travel with Kwula and get ready for suprises! 😀 😀 😀

“Hello Kwula, thank you very much for accepting my interview, let’s talk about your current situation before interview now, so, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?
Thanks River I am a big fan of your blog, espeically of your interview. It’s my pleasure that I am able to appear in your blog.
Currently, I am taking a philosophy class as a summer class and I have been practicing my writing in order to prepare my upcoming writing test. In Puppet Guardian, I am trying to buy sapphires to finish Briny Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, I am waiting for the purchasable furnitures in MR. My goal is to get the Suprise Prize by buying many furnitures in MR.

I see… Do you remember when and how did you first start playing Puppet Guardian? Also How did you find this website?
Ummmm this question is really testing my memory since it has been a long time. My guess is I started this game 3 or 4 years ago. I remeber that one day I was bored and I tried to find some flash game to play then
I discovered Puppet Guardian. The first time I logged into Puppet Guardian, I was suprised that no one was around then I decided to explore the game a little bit. Technically, I figured the basic style of the game so I was able to make few things without other’s introduction.

Can you tell us more about your reason of choosing this username and changing it to current one now? What were they based on or did you influence by anything?
Kwula is actually based on kwala and I am a bearlover. And Kwu is a part of my first name that is why I tried to mix up both. The current name I have now is PandaKwuKwu. I wanted to change my name to something related to animal, specifically bear kind, that is why I picked panda. And my best friend in PG like Muruu loved to call me KwuKwu so I changed my name to PandaKwuKwu; in that way when Muruu came back on, she could recognize me.

That’s a nice story… 😀 😀 😀 What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? And can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
My favorite weapon out of all is ummmm holy lance (unicorn version) I think this weapon is most beautiful weapon in PG. I also like pale blue or sky blue. That is why Holy lance (unicorn version) is so attractive to me. My long term goal has always been collecting all Coat of Arms. The progress of my collection of Coat of Arm goes pretty good. So far I need 2 more sapphires and 6 more rubies to finish this goal.

As a player for a long time, what was your thoughts over changes on Puppet Guardian through time?
We lost some great players. Meanwhile, we gained some new and good player like you (River). I would say the development of Puppet Guardian is focusing more on how to attract players to spend money on this game. I remember the old time, we used to travel together in season 1 and each player is so friendly to each other; I was so impressed that people in PG were so friendly. As the game introduces things like chest, players like me are trying to get as much as possible. The friendly environment is no longer that strong compares to few years ago because people are trying to focus on their goal without caring other people that much like the old times. So I hope we can be so friendly to each other like the old time and less hositle toward others.

Do you have any memories & players from past which make you smile when you remember?
Yes, Muruu, Popo, Hoyeen, Mint, Tofu Papa&Mama, Ron, Abyession, Jade, BB, and many other players.
I remembered Tofu Papa bought a turtle and he was wondering why he cannot ride on the turtle. That really made me laugh. Players like them are the reason why Puppet Guardian is so fun and attractive.

^_^ What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?
It’s an obstacle to my study !!!!! I can not concentrate~! I mean many players quit the game because PG requires so much time in order to become a successful players. So I am trying to take PG as a game for leisure and a platform to chat XD

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian would you quit? Or Would you make new friends? And why?
Yes, but i would occasionally come back to see anything new and I might run into suprise to see few old friends. I guess friends are most important in PG. Without them, I have no incentive to come to play anymore. Without incentive, I won’t be able to stay for long to make new friends.

The friends who left game, if they were reading this now, what would you want to say to them?
I miss you all and I wish you the best of whatever you are doing or want to do in the furture.

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Try to make some nice friends in PG and don’t be discourage by other players who have many good items. We all started from zero and nobody would laugh at you because you don’t have nice things. Be friendly to everyone and people will be friendly to you.

Thank you so much for answering my questions, take care and see you in Puppet Guardian!
Thanks River, Keep up these wonderful interviews that you are doing.”

Thank you very much for reading, i will be here next week with another awesome player, until then, take care and see you!!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 12

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the 12th Edition of the People Behind the Puppets, it’s been totally 3 months since i first started this series and i’m so glad how people enjoyed this in such a short period of time, i’ve enjoyed every moment of any interview i made, so thank you very much for letting me having these interviews and readers! Thank you for your feedback!

Anyway, this week on 12th Edition of People Behind the Puppets “The Flash of Puppet Guardian” Ryuzo will be our guest, not long time ago he and tinyy made their Paragon Bronze War Hammers, so i wanted to have the opportunity to have an iterview with him and he kindly accepted it, i hope you enjoy it!!! 😀 😀 😀

Hello Ryuzo, thank you very much for accepting my interview. So, before start, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?

Hi Hi Rivers! Thank you as well for inviting me in one of your interviews   I’m doing good, though I am a bit busy in RL ‘cause I’m doing a research project as a requirement for this semester T.T.. When I got time left, I mostly go some rounds in Tower III hunting for Emeralds. Everyone is free to join me in Tower III but I would probably be in Tower X ’cause of the new updates lol

Here the essential question on People Behind the Puppets comes, when and how did you first start playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find this website?

When I first came across PG was with the help of an ad in FB on Nov. 2009. I was searching for new free to play game at that time and the ad somehow caught my attention. I played it for a week then I stopped because I didn’t find anyone, I thought I was the only player there lol. Then on March the following year I tried again, I found the game more fun ‘cause there were lots more players. On June again I stopped for school reasons, then during the end of November I returned and never stopped playing since then.

As an old player, what were your thoughts about changes on Puppet Guardian through this time?

During my time playing PG there were big updates, which are wonderful, but I am hoping for simple updates like clothing, pets, hair color, etc..

Picking a goal is always a hard step on Puppet Guardian, so when you set your goals, how do you eliminate ideas?

When choosing goals I base them on what I want like my scythe for example, I choose to make a Death Scythe because I want 1 and it looks cool XD..

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? And can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?

My favourite weapon in PG is the Death Scythe because, aside from what I mentioned above, it deals a great deal of damage. I got so many goals lol but at the moment I am focusing on hunting more Emeralds.

What does Puppet Guardian mean to you? How important is it for you and how can you describe it?

Puppet Guardian is more than just a game to me, it’s a place for me to meet and have fun with friends as well as to learn like how to interact with people not just locally but also to people living elsewhere, it’s also a way for me to improve my English and understand other race’s culture. PG is indescribably important, not that I would die without it lol, it became a part of my life specially the friends I made in-game; PG is a way to connect with them.

Do you have any memories & players from past which make you smile when you remember?

LOL, I have so much fun memories with a lot of players, I can’t share all for there are so many XD I’ll just share 1 memory, to anyone who is reading this do you remember the times that we use to play hide and seek while waiting for Season 2 release LOL, it was a fun game and I hope we can do it again sometime

The friends who left game, if they were reading this now, what would you want to say to them?

To all my friends who left, please come visit us sometime, we are very eager to hear from you again!!

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian would you quit? Or Would you make new friends? And why?

Without friends PG would be very dull, but that doesn’t mean I’ll quit. I would probably play less and try to make new friends while hoping for my old friends to return or visit me.

As an experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?

As what others have said, beware of scammers!! Try to ask other players about trade transactions, which is not allowed XD, if it’s fair or not, or if the person your trading with is trustworthy =D Also be patient, PG is kind of a slow paced game

Thank you very much for your answers Ryuzo, i hope you enjoyed it as much as mine, take care, good luck and see you in Puppet Guardian!

Thank you very much too Rivers! I definitely enjoyed this interview. Btw your blog is becoming more and more amazing!! Keep up the great work Rivers!! :D”

Thank you for reading, i hope you liked it, next week i’ll be here with another puppet for you, until then, take care and see you!! 😀 😀 😀

People Behind the Puppets Volume 11

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back to another People Behind the Puppets entry after a long break, i hope you missed my interviews with players from Puppet Guardian. So today i’m back for interviews, first guest after this long break will be precious, dear friend Wero! She kindly accepted my interview, so i asked questions to her, i hope you like this interview! 😀 😀 😀

Hello Wero, it’s great to back to interviews and what’s better is, to interview with you, so thank you very much for accepting my interview and i hope we will enjoy it.
Thank you Rivers for your invitation, Im happy and feel honoured to be here 🙂

So, how are you? What have you been doing lately in both real life and Puppet Guardian?
I recently finished the stressful exam period so I can focus more on my pg goals  🙂 Zoa Golden Axe as the main one gets me to spend a lot of time towering t5 (or just snoozing off there lol). So btw, everyone feel free to join me towering 😀

Here the essential question on People Behind the Puppets comes, when and how did you first start playing Puppet Guardian? How did you find this website?
It was the end of last December (2010) I remember I came back home for Christmas and during one of our late nights chilling, laughing and fooling around with Triel (my sister and former PG player) she once introduced me to the game for fun 😀  I didnt know at that time I would ever become so engaged into this game! But then, one evening led to another and we ended up meeting up with Triel in pg every single day for months while being away from each other..

As an old player, what were your thoughts about changes on Puppet Guardian through this time?
There are of course both good and bad changes that occurred.. Im sad more and more players leave and that with introduction of Season 2 our cosy hanging out T2 lobby dissolved unreversably..

Some time ago you told me that Puppet Guardian was also helping you to communicate with your sister (Triel) who is another player on Puppet Guardian, can you tell us more about it? Who started before and do you still talk on Puppet Guardian?
True, the PG was our way of keeping in touch as we lead our lives far from one another ;.( Looking back, PG tought us a lot how to better understand each other, our feelings and moods; tought us how to cooperate and how to be more patient and supportive to each other; we shared not only all items there but most of all our small and big achievements (those from pg and rl) and sorrows. Sometimes we just spent hours talking bout everything in a lobby and always had lots of fun playing .. those memories are uncountable and will always stay in my heart.. Although she left the game, I feel grateful to have experienced all that with her.. She sometimes still visits me in PG 😀

What are your favorite items and weapons in Puppet Guardian? And can you tell us more about your goals and progress at the moment?
My all time fav would be the unchallengable Halberd! – I love the elegant way you can move with it and how powerful this weapon is. But as you know, Zoa Golden Axe is on my mind atm XD At the same time (as Im often in the dessert) Im synth War Hammers so I hope for Paragon one day 🙂 Then Im also up for jewelry @@ as Im a true jewelry lover and I make it in rl too. I just love some of the designs in PG  😀 As for the progress.. Sometimes I think Im just making circles and should be much more advanced til now, lol

To obtaining goals seems to be harder and harder each day, so how is this for you? Do you feel alone when trying to achieve your goals and what are your expectations from other’s when it comes to this? Maybe not just yourself, but for anyone who has goals…
Yes, the game does seem to speed up a bit with all the awsome weapons players now make.. XD But I think the more items one manages to collect by himself/herself, the bigger feeling of achievement by the end (‘its not the destination that counts but the road that leads to it’)

Do you have any memories & players from past which make you smile when you remember?
Of course I do! I mentioned Triel many times already (I think to everyone around lols) So not to repeat myself, there are those little moments that stay with you, like e.x. talking to a first person in game.. or the first players that helped you a lot (jinzak and camzy – big thx to them!). Great memory is also the time of Shasura battles where you could see how united we could be with everyone appearing for a battle! XD

The friends who left game, if they were reading this now, what would you want to say to them?
You will always remain in my heart and of course I wish you come back again as this game for me is build on every single character of yours that is unreplacable!!

If you were without all your friends on Puppet Guardian would you quit? Or Would you make new friends? And why?
Thats a difficult one! I remember the biggest loss was when Triel left the game, it all suddenly changed overnight.. I had to reconsider everything, had to make a lot of new friends. Thx to them I managed to get on just fine  😉 Although there are those most significant ones that if they left I would seriously consider quitting I guess.. But we all move on in the end and the time will come to every one of us to continue with our more and more busy lives, but still I hope we would keep in touch in rl
🙂
As a experienced player, do you have any suggestions for new players?
Dont give up!! 😀  the game gets more and more exciting with time!!
ow, also – respect other players and they will respect you, remember you are a part of one community.. As one song goes: ‘united we stand and divided we fall’!

Thank you very much Wero, i hope you enjoyed this as much as me, take care and see you in Puppet Guardian!!! 😀 😀 :D”

I hope you liked this interview, there will be another players here next with us, so please keep in touch, take care and see you!!! 😀 😀 😀
